Uma jovem francesa viaja até San Sebastián para observar estes fenómenos visuais. Aí, conhece uma portuguesa misteriosa que lhe conta uma história da sua juventude sobre a obsessão da irmã por um jovem vislumbrado ao longe e um olhar capaz de virar o mundo de pernas para o ar. Primeira longa-metragem de Bingham Bryant, que vimos, em 2025, em Fuck the Polis, de Rita Azevedo Gomes. Numa San Sebastián sonhada por observação calma e precisa, as personagens efabulam, mirando-se a si e ao seu redor, circulando entre espaços físicos e poéticos.   It is spring and there have been mirages along the Spanish coast. A young French woman travels to San Sebastián to observe these visual phenomena. There, she meets a mysterious Portuguese woman who tells her a story from her youth about her sister’s obsession with a young man glimpsed from afar and a gaze capable of turning the world upside down. This is the debut feature film by Bingham Bryant, whom we saw in 2025 in Rita Azevedo Gomes’s Fuck the Polis. In a San Sebastián conjured up through calm and precise observation, the characters weave tales, moving between physical and poetic spaces.
